Ownership begins with a revelation that you own something. Hebrews 11:1 AMP states, “Now Faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].” Simply put, faith is your title deed to whatever you are believing for. We read in Psalms 115:16 AMP, “The heavens are the Lord’s heavens, but the earth has He given to the children of men.” The Lord gave man ownership over the earth to rule and decide what happens on the earth, but Adam never took ownership over it and basically handed to the devil. That’s not the end of the story though, praise God! Jesus came, died, went to hell, paid the price for man’s sin, and then ascended to heaven—He took back the ownership of not only the earth, but everything! Without revelation of this concept, you will never take possession of what belongs to you. Jesus paid the full, complete price for everything that you will ever need. He didn’t die for you to have to make payments on anything.
